Altered Candle holder

A friend of mine wanted me to alter her candle holder, so of course I said sure. This is what it looked like before.



And this is what it looks like now except I changed the white bow to a multi colored ribbon after I took the picture, but it looked much better then the white.



Well that is it and she loved it you cant really see but on the heart and around the back side of the green bottom there are small black flowers, that are so pretty. She gave me a big box full of old jewelry that has tons of bling pieces in it for minis and to use in projects.






That's it...I can't wait to see what exactly is in here...

Halloween cards

The past few days I made all my Halloween cards to sent out to my family and friends. I also made a holder for my tall markers, out of a empty Pirouline can. Of course I had to eat them all to use the empty container lol.. I had to make over 30 cards so I did a simple but cute card I hope you all like them.

And this of course is the long marker holder I made, I'm thinking if I ever get some roses
I'd love to change the flower to a group of small roses. Thanks

Altered Journal

This is a altered journal I made yesterday I love the way it turned out, kinda a old meets new. I couldn't figure out how to put paper over it because of the way the book creases when it opens. Paper wouldn't have held up. So I decided to paint it, I used a red glitter paint as a bottom coat, weathered wood, and then black glitter paint on top. Anyway I hope you like it to.

Cards I made today..

So it's my sisters birthday on Sept. 19th. So I made her a birthday card today to send with her gift. I love the way it turned out. Hope she loves it to. As a gift I sent her a altered box and mini album because she is awaiting the birth of her first grand baby. So I thought it would be a good gift for her and I know she will love it.

Flowers

I have been busy all day making flowers to put in my store. I am going to sell them in a pack of 10 for $1.50, I will be putting them in this week so keep a eye open. I'm going to start selling more supplies, like flowers I make. For now they are going to come in green and red. More colors to come.







Hope You like them, they are so cute I will be using different color centers later as I go.

Rocking Horse

I altered one of my Rocking Horses today and I think it is very simple but I love the way it turned out, I'll post some pictures start to finish and let me know what you think. My next one that I make I'm thinking about using one of my favorite paper stacks, but we'll see. So anyway here it is.

Gotta Love Freebies

I love a good freebie, especially when it serves a purpose for me. I got this shelf from one of our renters she was just throwing it away. I thought I could use it for my paint and stuff. So I grabbed it. At first I thought about repainting it and then I thought nope I think I like it the way it is.


This is the shelf.


I decided I like the antique color of it.


Not to bad for free.

So this is what I did with it, it will hold flowers, glimmer mists and paint.

Post Cards

I've had these postcards for years, I never really looked at them before today. I took them out to sell them in my store but now that I take a good look at them I love the vintage look. I'm thinking about using them for a altered item or a mini album. There are 18 of them, I think they will work beautiful in a new project.










When I do make something with these I will be sure to post it.
