Tattered Time wall hanging

I had scrap pieces of tattered time paper left from some cards I made. I painted the hearts in real red craft paint, then cut my scraps of paper to fit inside the hearts. I used a butterfly I've had for years and a flower I made. Center of the flower is a piece of jewelry that use to be a earring. Then I used some white ribbon to tie it all together. And a few tiny pieces of bling.









I had fun making this love painting and right now I'm working on a welcome sign for our entry way to the office. I will post pics when I'm done.

Looking up.

Things are looking up. I just won two giveaways on youtube and I'm so happy I actually cried when I found out. I guess what they say is right, what comes around goes around. This year wasn't the best for Steve and I, hard times in Las Vegas after I had to stop working and Steve lost his job wasn't fun. We stayed in a monthly weekly rental for a month or two then with a friend. We thought things where looking up then they went right in the whole again.  A few months ago we sold what we could and what didn't get sold (which was a apartment full of things) we gave to a needy family. The family was from Florida, they moved to Vegas for a better life and it back fired on them. They had nothing, so we gave them everything we had to help them out. We packed up our two door Saturn and moved to Michigan. My sons and grand babies live here so it's a good move. When we got here we spent a month staying with a awesome friend of ours..love you Tami thanks for everything. Now things are looking much better. Steve got a job, it came with a apartment, so we are living on our own again which is awesome. So anyway things are looking up.

Altered Candle holder

A friend of mine wanted me to alter her candle holder, so of course I said sure. This is what it looked like before.



And this is what it looks like now except I changed the white bow to a multi colored ribbon after I took the picture, but it looked much better then the white.



Well that is it and she loved it you cant really see but on the heart and around the back side of the green bottom there are small black flowers, that are so pretty. She gave me a big box full of old jewelry that has tons of bling pieces in it for minis and to use in projects.






That's it...I can't wait to see what exactly is in here...

Halloween cards

The past few days I made all my Halloween cards to sent out to my family and friends. I also made a holder for my tall markers, out of a empty Pirouline can. Of course I had to eat them all to use the empty container lol.. I had to make over 30 cards so I did a simple but cute card I hope you all like them.

















Ok those are the Halloween Cards I made very simple but cute...





And this of course is the long marker holder I made, I'm thinking if I ever get some roses
I'd love to change the flower to a group of small roses. Thanks

Altered Journal

This is a altered journal I made yesterday I love the way it turned out, kinda a old meets new. I couldn't figure out how to put paper over it because of the way the book creases when it opens. Paper wouldn't have held up. So I decided to paint it, I used a red glitter paint as a bottom coat, weathered wood, and then black glitter paint on top. Anyway I hope you like it to.
